To be fair they've faced as tough of a start as they possibly could. Fixture list will get less punishing soon, and then we'll see if they're truly fucked.

I always say November is a time when the league tables start telling us where the battles to be won in the tables form...

Totally this. Some (most) of the sunderland fans just don't realise what is going on. Or rather, will not accept it. Fleetwood, Burton ... I mean come on. You lot loved us being in the "pub league", which just happened to be The Championship, which Newcastle won by the way, yet your fans try to spin the narrative that all is well in League 1. A league that your team are hardly ripping apart. You may just make the playoffs.

I can’t gain any solace from the Mags losing at home to Arsenal. We are looking every bit the average third division team I feared we might be, can’t get too excited about our neighbours losing today.
