@JamieDonald1
Thomas is made up after me finding this Sunderland top @Steakhouse27 bought for him when he was born 14 years ago!! Now Daddy Stewart owns the club!

@johnftmbriton
So are Yous fans of Sunderland before Stewart bought the club

@stewartdonald3
secret is out - Kenny is the biggest die hard fan so his story to tell. He is a big reason I’m at the club. His earlier generations worked the mines. One I believe had to stay in the mines rather than play for Sunderland as he couldn’t take a pay cut!! Oh for those days!

@johnftmbriton
that would help the wage bill wouldn’t it the money them 2 mercenary’s who don’t turn up would have been enough to keep the mines open. I Love havin our club back so cheers Kenny we owe you a pint n some Cheesey chips and just a little thanks to you @stewartdonald3

@Steakhouse27
Technically longest serving Sunderland supporter in the Donald clan. Crazy to think when I got him that 14 years later his Dad would own the club.

Wtf is that about? Oh for those days?

think he's alluding to coal miners earning more than footballers there mate
For the wages of a footballer to be less than the wages of a miner.

Ah fair enough, I misunderstood it as some kind of glorification of the mines and that poor people shouldn't have the chance of a better life :lol: fair play SD, nice to know there is a proper connection there!

What the fuck is going on there?

One of Stewart Donald’s old friends is a big SAFC supporter (reference to the lad’s family being miners in the area) and bought a SAFC bib for SD’s son years ago.

SD’s missus has now found the bib and it’s being pointed out that it’s gone from the bairn getting some SAFC merchandise, to his dad owning the club.
