Spent over £110m net while we are over £20m in profit from the last three years.

This doesn’t matter though. Apparently.
Ah - that was Net Spend though so it doesn't count..

Fair play to Wolves - they've gambled on a big spend and brought in seasoned internationals.

Fat Mike won't let us buy them as they are past their 'best before date ..

Really knows a thing or three about football that man..

Bringing in players not past their 'best before date' is probably the reason that you lot can bang on about net spend.

But yeah, he doesn't know a thing about football......well apart from being able to run a club within its means (apart from having to cover a bit of debt from his own pocket of course) and get it punching at the weight, that in the general scheme of things, it should probably be punching at.

This on Facebook today from an educated mag known to me :

'To put #NUFC current spending under Rafa (and Ashley) into context...

In 2007, Sam Allardyce put a starting 11 out that cost £67m to assemble.

Today, 11 years later in 2018, Rafa put out a side that cost a grand total of £30m.

£30m for a whole team, just let that sink in.....'

My retort:

'Dubravka (4m), Yedlin (5.9m), Fernandez (6.7m), Clark (6m), Diamé (5.4m), Rondon (2.2m loan fee), Murphy (11.3m), Muto (10.7m), Joselu (5.5m), Atsu (7.5m)
Actually 65 million euros or £60 million squad assembled by Benitez on display yesterday. Any idea why he left £32 million of his signings on the bench ?'

This cult of Rafa appears to be spreading to the well educated middle-classes.
They have truly lost their minds.

Whoa £60m for the ENTIRE SQUAD.... (.....let that sink in..)

We are in the big time now !!

That wouldn't cover the cost of Hazard's left foot.....

A reasonably accurate estimate of NUFC current year earnings can be found here:

As we finished 10th last term our TV monies will rise ~ and our full financial Turnover will be of the order of £180m this term (2018)

Costs (wages, fees, operating costs etc.) will be around £95-100m - leaving a rough profit of £80-£85m

So we could have safely had a Net transfer spend of £50m-£60m in the 2018 summer window and still be showing a healthy profit

We actually spent (Net) -£23m

Let that sink in............

:lol::lol::lol: Rattled and fuckin seething the daft bastards.

Surely a werld class managa should be able to work with a squad that cost a lot of money?

Or is this latest messiah simply not good enough?

Still banging on about net spend :lol::lol::lol:

Nowt to do with the standard they are now and players have much better options, they simply can’t accept this.

All based on guess work.

Fact - amount owed to Mike Ashley as at 30/06/2017 £144 million.

You’re quoting a NUFC fanzine as a source? I’m sure that’s an unbiased article...
