Strange signing they must think Sam Curran is with England for the long haul and will get a central contract. I think they have still got Rikki Clark for at least another season. Not sure about Warwickshires interest i think Ben Raine is heading there if Leicestershire can't find the dough to keep him.

Aye they may well be in for him as well. I don't think Leicestershire can match the package he is being offered plus the chance to go somewhere where they win a few matches.

Aye. There's been a big change, wonder where the dosh is coming from. I know gates for the T20have improved this season but not a great deal compared to even middling Counties like Essex and Somerset surely?

Erm, it’s a bit different when all we’re offering is £10 a run and a tub of pease pudding as a win bonus - yet they’ve got lads on million pound contracts

I would imagine Bancroft's wage is part of the 'overseas player' budget and Lees won't cost that much. Not really increasing the wage bill especially if Pringle and Richardson (now we have Davies) both go.
