I suspect that’s part of his thinking in coming over. Or atleast Beefy would’ve sold that to him - “come to Durham and do well and the selectors will take note, cause our ground is the most difficult ground to play at in terms of English conditions”

I’m not particularly keen on the club getting him in, however everyone deserves a second chance and if he comes in and scores a thousand runs I’m sure all will soon be forgot about regarding his joinery skills.
