That will forever be NUFCs problem, their fans.

Burnley have spent a fraction with lesser names. If Dyche was at NUFC and signed those players there fans would never have gave them a chance

Aren't you quoting someone saying our squad isn't better in Burnley's? Are our fans not giving the current players a chance? From what I have seen last season the fans are massively behind the majority of the players (bar your standard scapegoats for whatever reason) and the manager.

You can't seemingly concur that our squad is level with Burnley's and then go on to say we wouldn't have given those players a chance when the evidence massively suggests otherwise given the current support of the squad.

Stop talking sense you daft bugger.

Good question, but obviously would stay as we are in the Premiership if given the choice.Would not want to risk going down to league 2, remember 4 teams go down, 3 go up so no matter what 7 teams will leave league 1 this season, I think you will finish somewhere in the middle, so would I be happy with that for a chance to restucture our club...NO. It's a delicate situation for you, it could be a great season where you win more than you lose, but if you haven't won a game after 6 games what happens then?
Probably different for you lot as you aren't in the same mess we were in. As long as Ashley stays, you'll be ran efficiently but achieve little. Before the takeover, we were a total basket case of a club and without the relegations, would probably still be struggling to find a suitable buyer.

If all goes well and we can achieve promotion this season, then the unused parachute payments should help towards a further promotion push.

Be interesting to see the state and ambitions of both clubs in 4-5 years time.

What total rubbish you spout.

Gayle scored as many as Chris Wood im sure. See Brady for Ritchie.

Then you have Shelvey Lascelles Perez.

I fail to see how Burnley have a better side.

I don't believe he said they did!

I like the replies lol
a tad over the top however, the bloke is numbskull but entitled to his opinion.

He's clearly poking you lot with a stick to get a reaction.
Seems to have worked......

Your fan base does come across like Donald trump supporters a bit when he gets criticised in the media.

Not sure where you have got that I said that from?

That is what most of them are even saying "trying to stay relevant" etc.. I just think its the twitter generation in general to be honest. lol they go bat shit crazy at the slightest thing
Still I cant stand the hairy knuckle fecker so all the abuse he gets doesn't bother me, i just wont add to it.

So how many Burnley fans are moaning?

They havent signed anyone. You lot have moaned for 2 seasons about lack of funds. I dont see how thats supporting your players. Colback didnt get much support either or Mitrovic you have blind faith in Benitez yet Mitrovic will probably score more goals than any Newcastle striker and finish higher in the table.

It doesn't matter what other teams are doing, how do you know Burnley fans aren't just as pissed off as we are?

The simple fact is there is money available to improve the squad which is imperative as most of those around us have also improved, Benitez isn't asking for Man City money or Everton money, just enough to improve and build something, and the fans aren't happy about it.

Whether you like the net spend argument or not we are sitting 30 million in profit so far this window, which would be absolutely fine if we didn't have glaring deficiencies in the squad and an out of date training complex.

We know we have a team that can maybe survive especially with a good manager like Benitez, but the club isn't going anywhere without at least some investment.

I would be more worried if the fans didn't give a shit and had no ambition, otherwise what's the point in competing?

Sorry but what are you talking about? We have higher income than Burnley so it is not unreasonable to expect higher spending. All our players got support, I don't know where you are getting the idea that players didn't. People did moan about some I suppose, but during games there was none abuse, or none that I heard anyway. Mitro was a fan favorite.

I'm not sure how many Burnley fans are moaning, are you as close to them as you are Newcastle and their supporters to give an assessment with the same amount of detail? We're not moaning at the whole squad just that were are aware that if you stand still at this level you invariably go backward. The first team squad retains a strong support but there is a significant need for quality additions.

On your second paragraph, you must have missed me saying 'the usual scapegoats' which Colback falls into. I think you'll find Colback got plenty of support at the start until it was confirmed that he was absolute dump and not worthy of a first team place. This seems to hold up considering he is now plying his trade in a lower division.

Onto Mitrovic, we know he has a certain ability but we also know the system that Rafa plays and Mitrovic unfortunately doesn't fit into it. I've said it before while you might be right, Mitrovic isn't of the sufficient quality for us to rip our whole gameplan and mentality up to accommodate him.

You may have higher income, but I would also imagine that your debt & running costs are also substantially higher than the likes of Burnley. Chances are Newcastle’s wage bill alone will dwarf that of Burnley.
