its true though isnt it..we are so used to seeing mediocre millionaire players pissing around in hypercars and not capable of lifting a finger to actually do anything

then we see this lad packing all his gear into a family saloon and heading off somewhere that he seems really excited about

its a shame we have to drop divisions to pick up players who seem so full of enthusiasm

Spot on Nick, this potential signing ( to date not signed yet ) has intrigued me more than any of the big shot fancy Dans who have signed in the past. A lad who is down to earth who desperately wants to be here !

I said we needed to drop out the premier league to achieve this, unfortunately we did nothing and allowed the losers to continue playing. Happy with what we have achieved this window and I’m looking forward to getting behind the new lads.
I think if we’d not Fannied about with the DOF model and stuck with a decent enough manager who had a style and confidence and consistently backed him and built a team around him we could have been brave enough to do this when we actually had cash and just slot them in after a bit of preparation instead of the semtex model Short preferred.

Does this no longer count as an out of the blue transfer?

When oh when will we learn? etc. We nearly had one, now it's taking forever ... its disappointing, and any longer and he can just turn his car around and Twitter his way back to Wycombe for me.
