Watched the video last night, he reminds me of the young version of Joey Barton - before he became a bell, he was impressive

I'm sure that lad was always a bell, but I get what ya saying if he wasn't he could have made more of his career.

Still can't believe the time his Twitter account was full of quotes making him look intelligent. I know someone who was told to get their kid interested in intelligent celebs on Twitter, like Joey Barton, by a schools teacher? I'd would have removed my kid from the school and reported the teacher to the school governors. What next get ya kid to become pen pals with Charles Bronson?

Actor or inmate?

Inmate!

My point is Joey Barton is a questionable character and one that a teacher should not be suggesting children look up to and aspire to be like.

There are plenty of footballers, athletes out there who are a better role model but people were sucked in by a small period of time by Bartons cut and paste jobs on Twitter of philosophers etc to make himself seem intelligent.

We need characters and he seems like one.

Good stuff, introduce a load of new positive lads and dilute the stink in the dressing room.

I said we needed to drop out the premier league to achieve this, unfortunately we did nothing and allowed the losers to continue playing. Happy with what we have achieved this window and I’m looking forward to getting behind the new lads.

Watching that video the lad has a bit rawness like watmore when on the ball and gets himself about. Scores about 5 goals a season in league 2 so we'll have to see if he can do the same in league 1.

It wouldn't surprise me if our lack of an airport had a negative effect on his decision.

I for one, find it difficult to celebrate a Sunderland win whilst carrying with me this devastating knowledge.
They have famous fans that are role models like Ant McPartlin as well as people like Steve Wraith who knows loads of ganstas. Gutted here just hope Luke doesnt understand.
