They just finished 10th in the PL.
What exactly are they protestingwhat is Ashley doing wrong. They've just been back in the PL for one season
Referencing my own post above, they had the 9th highest wage bill in the PL last season. So finishing tenth was a very slight under achievement.
It's proven that paying your best players more money is more effective than buying new players.
As an aside, an interesting Mike Ashley titbit, he's paid for 24 new strikers since he arrived at St James Wongadome.... Amazing
