From the day the ground opened the Norrh Stand was the home end. The players still run out to that end and kick to that end in the second half.



Maybe when we get back in Premier League but pointless in League 1 and Chanpionship, not enough away fans to fill enough sections of it.

Surely the South Stand is now the recognised home end?

We didn't, the whole idea of passing the 20,000 mark was to surpass last season's total.

We only had 26,000 in the premier league too.

That's why I've asked where these numbers come from, there's no way the East Stand and SE corner will have loads more people in than the West side, just looks completely wrong.

East side of the ground has 40 odd rows, whereas the West only has 30 odd.

As usual the splendid people of Sunderland and its hinterland do their thing. This is where we discover what's going to happen as a result of that. Will it be the usual management response of " Tee he, how stupid are they?", or will it be the new management who appeciate that and respond in a appropriate fashion.
