I actually don't think Stokes is that great a bowler all told, especially in white ball cricket. Should certainly be absolutely nowhere near the death overs of an innings. Bowls far too many hittable balls.

What a win, we are a better ODI side than them, some people far too eager to jump on some player's back after 1 game

Pleased we are showing exactly what we are capable of and can do it without key players too. Only disappointment is the fact we didn't win before the 40th over to rub it in had the boot been on the other foot they would have done and looked ruthless doing it

I disagree here. Geezer at work said he wants it done in 40, I prefer the way we went about it.

We showed that in big, one off games, chasing a modest total, we have the intelligence, maturity and ability to play proper, risk-free cricket and cruise a game. Had we gone hell for leather and ended up sneaking over the line - or losing - because we've lost wickets trying to over attack, there'd still be huge question marks.

We've shown a maturity today in that performance that I wasn't sure we had. Definitely bodes well for the WC.
