Not meaning to sound like a **** like, but that's how most people from Washington feel about it.

They are divided by a river and the A19 so geographically, historically and by postcode, it just isn't Sunderland.

I don't give a Monkeys chuff where they are from, England should not be about club rivalry.

Pickford has been fantastic, and seemed to get better after the unwarranted stick he got after the Belgium game.
Henderson's been brilliant, sets a good base for the midfield and his work rate and passing have been spot on.

For the record I don't think Shelvey should be in ahead of Henderson, but I do think he should have been an option to bring off the bench, Delph and Dier are too similar to Henderson but without his range of passing, that's where Shelvey would have come in for me, as and when Henderson wasn't fit......

Used to walk from Hylton Castle(Sunderland) to washington as a bairn - about 2 miles, only a village then, Distance from Newcastle ???? ;)

A further update from the hospital said everything is fine it's only Michael Martin's daily rant.

Desperate for some Mag involvement ! Shelvey's temperament totally unsuitable for International antics and he wasn't even in the Mags good books when he was acting the knob
