The Chesters

The Chesters is called Chesters now IIRC.
Tiny change but a massive shift in the dynamics

The changed the Blue Bell to Bluebell. It wasn't popular so they changed it back again.

The Wheatsheaf has always been the Wheatsheaf. The last time it was a rural area must have been well over 200 years ago but I doubt the boozer is that old, bit of an odd name for an urban boozer (and the one no longer with us that was down Hendon).

The Hastings Hill is the only boozer close to Pennywell nowadays. Used to have 4 others in and around at one time. Jolly Potters and Golden Lion still going down the village.

Ok. It is what it is. Bowel cancer is clear still after colon removed and chemo has had a positive impact on the blood and bone marrow parts of the Myeloma. Hasn't done much for me fucked kidneys though so still hovering on the edge of dialysis.

Cheers for asking :D:D
Didn't realise it was that bad mate. You'll have to have a dodge to The Fulwell Tap when ya kidneys allow.

Was called the museum and curiosity vaults originally
Yep. During the second world war, it was on the emergency power circuit that the hospital was on anarl so you could still get a pint during a blackout.
