Sweet peanuts? Sure you can still get them. Might have to have a look, I used to love them.Them monkey nut shaped sweets, loved them. Woolworths used to do chocolate biscuits that had Caramac on instead. Them mini chocolate bar vending machines in train/bus stations that always had shit Nestles choc bars in them, never ever seen anybody buy one, they looked like they'd been in years.
For many years on a wall in Lemington there was grafitti of a large dick with the legend 'big one - sticks out a mile'. Always made me laugh! The words were painted over eventually, but not the dick. That only disappeared a few years ago when the wall was rebuilt I think.BIG ONE....sticks out a mile, so the advert said, and those horrible liquorice Imps that you got in a little tin.
Sister and I were reminiscing about mint imperials - at one time they had a little bit of hard glacier-type mint in the middle. Doesn't seem to exist these days.Logon or register to see this image
Also, proper bon bons with the hard toffee in the middle, not this chewy shite they put in them these days
Bovril crisps! I wish I knew where to complain to.
M&S used to do lovely rectangular peanut biscuits which have disappeared into oblivion.
Also Waitrose's black pepper shower gel which for £1.20 was fabulous and very similar to Moulton Brown's more expensive one. Probably why it no longer exists.
