Was it really a penalty ?

Not for me it wasnt. Still not just the goal, but the sight of that fucker who hit the deck at every opportunity in floods of tears at the whistle, was a joy to behold . Wankers like him have ruined the game, although Young was a tit for letting him do it
 

An obvious penalty. Walker was in the wrong position an body shape so was making sure the feller couldn’t get past him. We should’ve had a couple at the other end anarl.

The VAR refs look at it in the background and can suggest the ref takes a lot at it again. He’s not obligated to do so, unless as you say he asks for it to be looked at. It was clear that the ref believed he himself was capable of running the game without much help from the VAR. there’s no way they would have missed the Harry Kane fouls, they get the same shots we do from the cameras.
 
How anyone can claim that wasn't a pen is f***ing beyond me! Soft or not it's a pen all day long. You simply can't do that in the box, was a f***ing stupid thing to do.

Clearly u all think its within the laws to elbow an opponent in the face :lol:
 
Nah it wasn't a penalty, there was no attempt to elbow anyone he was just using his body to shield the ball as it can accross him, and the Tunisian player just bent down and headbutted his elbow it was an embarrassing decision as were most of them like.

It’s annoying as fuck as he was never going to get there, but walker was absolutely pathetic in elbowing him. You can’t put your elbow up head high and expect to get away with it. Tunisia did fuck all going forward and he made 2 mistakes in the 2 times he was needed defensively.

What the VAR refs were doing though, missing the rugby tackles on Kane (which the ref seemed to be looking straight at) I do not know!

Just a thought, would the Russians have owned up if the VAR system had broken down. :)

In my opinion 1 penalty given correctly, 2 penalties not given

I just don't get how he gave theirs and yet doesn't feel the need to look at VAR for the two blatant fouls on Kane, if it was any other team they would have been rewarded two penalties.
 
Yes defo pen. The few ocassions HK was dragged to the floor were also pens. Ref either bottled it or was paid off.
