Bowling spinners in order to stay on, personally I don't think this tactic benefits us. They've got a partnership now building into its 30's, we don't look like getting a wicket. Let's go off and reload in the morning.

69-4, with 199 further required tomorrow (if that is Close).

Wonderful fight back from Durham, started by Latham, continued by Harte - with special mention to Salisbury, exceptional innings batting for 2 hours and 42 minutes.

Not over this one yet, so saving the superlatives for now. We could do with getting Slater and another early on tomorrow.

Thought it was an excellent day's cricket today from Durham with special praise for Harte who batted the way they used to do in Test Matches;) plus excellent support from Rimmington and Salisbury and then the latter and Rushy in the bowling dept.
Slater is the key wicket tomorrow.
Ha'way the Lads!!

f***ing class

anyone tell me much about harte?

what the hell happened with the extras?
Saffer, played Middlesex 2nds then Somerset 2nds and played last year for us in the 2nd and scored a hatful ….. this match is his 2nd 1st class but 1st in the championship.

Seen Harte a few times now and he continues to impress. He's showing a lot of the other first teamers up with his sensible mature cricket. Keeping hold of him may be a problem as I genuinely believe this lad has got it.
