It’s a repeat of the Kent game
Our batting is atrocious and irrespective of our bowlers bowling them out cheaply when we bat next we will achieve a narrow lead which they will knock off relatively easily
We are on a downward spiral unless we can find a way and batters to bat consistently without digging a deep hole

I really don't understand why Vic produced a wicket that was noticeable for being very green. I mean am I wrong, you lads have more experience than me but wouldn't a green top seam more?

Also the sky was cloudy, humid and pretty windless before and for a little after lunch - expect swing then.

I'm not surprised Derbys asked us to bat.

I saw Vic and asked him if the wicket was doing a bit: "Too much, unfortunately" was the response. Don't know how/why it was prepared the way it was but it doesn't add up, especially with this "uncontested toss" bollox.

One thing that struck me about yesterday was how much we missed Weighall's batting down the order.

For the record this season we have been dismissed for 91 & 170 (39-7 at one stage) v Kent. 184 v Leics (51-6 at one stage) and 96 v Derbyshire.

Only in the 2nd inns v Leics have we performed.:(

18 year old Glendall has looked quite comfortable for his 27.
205/9 lead of 109...over the hills and far away.

Brilliant catch by Harte to dismiss Lord Olivier 205 all out

Wicket doesn’t look as green this morning and the sun is shining. It’s up to Durham to make a go of this.

Clouding over nicely now.

Latham hits first ball for a boundary!!
Jones opening with him.

Critchley drops a sitter in the slips with Latham on 9
