A lot of my mates are Sunderland fans, i played football for years in the Crook and disrtricy league and one of my closest mates is Dave Hunns who works for SAFC, i have to go to the SOL for different reasons because of my job so have lots of Banter with people there, i was there last Friday giving away £1,500 Hays travel vouchers to a lad from Whitburn who won them on our radio station, who hugged me after winning them then called me a Mag twat, all fun and games.

Thanks for doing the bogs mate, can't be easy......

Every League in Europe is like this now, and the Top 6 want an even bigger slice of the Fookin loot led by the thieving bindippas, coupled with FFP it's a Fookin closed shop noo....

But obviously if ye hev a multi billionaire, 52k and the famoos No 9......Ye should be competing....

It is mate. Not sure where all the random dates are coming from!?
I think the 22nd is the deadline to get tickets at reduced prices, or to guarantee the price for three seasons or something. Bit in bold at the bottom of this page .

Mind, this page , lists a renewal price and a regular price. Seems the 'renewal' prices are what they're charging at the minute, so maybe it goes up to the 'regular' price after?

It does go up to the regular price after the deal date of 22nd.

34,000 applied for the couple of thousand match tickets that went on sale. It was soldout a month or so before. Portsmouth is the biggest club outside the premiership.
@Cridge will disagree

There were some games in the premiership where Portsmouth had to pay £47 for home tickets. Plus facilities and shocking. If Portsmouth and Sunderland had the same facilities and prices and both battling promotion, Portsmouth would average more. Fact.
Their ST 's were £710 when they were in the Prem

I'm sorry but Portsmouth are bigger than Villa, Leeds and Sunderland, nevermind little neighbours Southampton. If you think different then you are really deluded. End of debate.
Highest average in their history was 37000 when they won the league in 1950 or summit.
They've never broken 40,000 average in a season ever.
Sunderland have done it 20 times since WW2 which is twice as many times as Villa, Leeds, Portsmouth, and Wolves combined.

Just as a general comparison Aston Villa have sold 17000 for next season. There's are quite a bit more expensive than ours, granted, but they're still the biggest club in the Championship.

If it wasn't for the constraints of the ground Portsmouth would probably be alongside Arsenal and Spurs when it comes to attendances. Hardly won anything and shite crowds throughout history but comfortably in the top 6 biggest clubs in England and therefore Europe, massive club.

Top half championship side who have been fighting for promotion
Much Bigger city and catchment area
More successful history
A ground only 7k smaller than ours

What is their excuse? Shite support! Ha'way SAFC!
