Unfortunately it's a repeat of last year's fiasco against Worcester which was on between June 26-29...pink ball..Durham put in and 18-5 after 40 minutes ( some things never change). 
It pissed down on the 3rd and 4th day thus depriving Worcs of near certain victory.
I may watch the first session and then go home to watch the World Cup depending on how things are going.

So FTECB schedule floodlight games during the longest days and in the middle of the World Cup. Got to give it to them -they're consistent.

They really are a f***ing joke mind, floodlit game starting at 14:00 - four days after the longest day of the year......
So it's absolutely possible, that at the scheduled close of play at 21:00, that the light is absolutely fine for cricket WITHOUT the need for floodlights

We tried it last year and the ground emptied at 7.00 when the old boys went home. The CC crowd is different from the T20 one. Doesn't work up here. It's nearly always cold sitting around at 8-9 o'clock. Having said that I'll be able to watch more than I normally would. Must remember my extra jumper though.
