Canny game.

Utter class by Bell. Although he looked plum earlier

Someone in the crowd rather foolishly asked Dixon if he thought Bell was lbw ...I couldnt quite make out the swear words for the noise of the steam coming out of his ears.

After that Bell and Trott just stamped their class on the game although I couldnt undertand Collingwood's continual attempts to try and bounce Trott out....mind you this season DCCC's tactics have been like that famous line from Apocalypse Now....

'Are my methods unsound?'

'I dont see any method at all.'

Given Dixon has played a few now …… what are people's opinons? Growing on you or Not? Deal or no deal.

For what it's worth I reckon ….. he's got better with each game, so yes, deal.

I've seen worse this season.
He looked very unlucky not to get Bell early on.

Extend the loan for another month would be to the advantage to the player and both clubs. Haven't seen enough of him in red ball cricket to give him a contract.

Well bitterly disappointed. This experiment of having Collingwood opening has cost us and resulted in another defeat with this farcical decision. Who is making this decision??? I'm convinced it's not Latham who comes across as a bit of a puppet at the moment. Clear as day its Lewis/Collingwood making the decisions. Fair play to Bell & Trott very class but Smith and Richardson apart, there wasn't much else. Not really impressed with Dixon to be honest. Would like to see a few changes on Sunday, first change is to have Cameron Steel open the batting.

Only got to the Riverside when Warks were 23 for 2. Hopes were high, but Bell and Trott were batting together. Obviously world class batsmen in their day but still capable of inflicting severe pain on the County circuit. Which is exactly what they did. Disappointing, but Warks had 2 proven batsmen who won the game for them. Just the way it goes.

Aye. I would agree with that. Seems to bowl too much loose stuff and when you give up on him, weighs in with a couple of wickets. Still worth looking at.

I just wonder if it's a case of he wasn't playing regularly and only 2nd team but if he does play more often and at a better standard then he can improve and I think the maybe he has.. . . . . .
