I did a bit on here ages ago about top attendances and every club in Europe v ‘success’ in the last 30 years. Success was a league or cup win or even a European place. No-one without success other than SAFC, as we had two seasons ago gets anywhere near 40000 as we will do when we return to our rightful place - we’re now on a 45 year barren run.
I’ve looked into shite runs of all clubs in the Euro ‘main’ divisions. Paderborn in Germany went from the Bundesliga to League 3 but nowhere near as spectacularly as we’ve done.
There’s not one supporter of any club in Europe that can stand toe to toe with any ST of ours and say that our support is better than yours given the above.
