Bit of a random question but is it the East Stand that gets the sun? Am thinking this might help when it's bloody freezing as our little lads no good with the cold. I'm tempted with a season ticket for us both as I've some great memories as a kid when we were winning games in the old third division!

What has been the average attendance in the third division in the last three years ? What have Sunderland supporters endured recently. These are season. Tickets by the way. In view of the kicking these fans have taken recently I think it’s nowt short of a miracle. And there’s time left yet to sell more. I’m sure this is not the only thing you struggle to understand.

If you get them at the start then gates around 26k in league 1 would be very decent to be fair. Even in the premiership when you were in constant relegation battles year after year and getting 38-42k I had respect for that.

Just walking out to 24k empty seats in your first game last season and the most empty seats in the country has ruined the image of your support.

Especially the amount of away fans whose image of Sunderland now is more empty seats than supporters.
