When was the last time they actually produced the goods in home conditions?

Trent Bridge 2015?
Old Trafford 2014 before that?

Point being, it seems to me that we actually aren't all that good in our own conditions. Certainly more cases of failure in recent times than success.

Most teams have toured and had success with swing and seam - maybe that's just our batting frailties, because it seems like 100-150 for 5 is the absolute norm, home and away.

Possibly knee jerk, but as I was doing the washing up afore I couldn't think of many impressive bowling (as a unit) performances.

I don't think we have lost a home series for about five years, so from that, they must be performing well.

Imo this test was lost due to sloppy batting, no patience and too many dropped catches.

I said it before but will again, the crunch wickets come from five down onwards

We got virtually nowt from wicket 6 downwards in both innings.

The Pakistan team made 43 in their only innings

England made 16 in the first, and wickets 7 to 10 made 6

So that's nine wickets for 22 runs. A truly pathetic statistic

It happened all last winter as well
