By offering large discounts and refunds to those who’ve already paid. How many do you think we’d sell at say £200 and if was cost neutral to the new owners would it not be a great way to kickstart the new regime.
 

Personally I don't think it's down to price, it's mainly down to entertainment and the fact that we fail to win the vast majority of our home games. If the football improves and the team begins to win again, the fans will soon flock back.

What we have experienced is not normal, very few sets of fans have experienced such utter failure. It would affect the most ardent supporter and although it's great news that we now have a new ownership team, I still think many fans will be wary and will possible want to see a reaction before returning week in week out.

Main reason people have stopped going is we are not in the premier league.
 
A year or two ago Bradford did cut prices significantly and now play in a virtually full stadium every home game,

Agreed.

If the new regime reestablishes the club/fan relationship & the team does well, the crowds will naturally increase. I think that is the time to introduce incentives to bring even more fans in. For instance, come March or April if we are playing a promotion rival (touch wood) then we could have "raise the roof day" with £1 admission & gift vouchers for season ticket holders. A fullish house with income from the bars, refreshments & the shops. Then we'd lose.

Fuck that. We pay a fair price (very fair imo) as it is and money from paying supporters is our bread and butter nowadays. Either come to the matches or don't. Our current prices aren't the deterrent for most people imo.

It's not really bullshit when about 15k people stopped going the exact season after we got relegated. Just cos you aren't one of them doesn't make it untrue. ;)
