I hope not. He and SD need to steer well clear of this place. To not even read it in fact.
Since we're not getting a new Chief Exec, I would not be surprised in the slightest to see Methven become the next DiFanti/Congerton/Bain boo-boy of this board over time. :rolleyes:

I think it's fair to say most people come across like wankers on fans forums. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt.
 
I don't give a shite if they are nice people or not, although they just come across as normal successful business people to me. it's what they do for the club to turn it round and run it properly that counts and so far they've said the right things and proven in their first action (getting rid of Bain), that they have been listening and watching for a while I reckon. I'm more and more looking forward to the next few weeks and months to see what else happens.

The fact that he's an old Etonian speaks volumes .....& from the Witney crop (no pun intended). I knew I'd heard his name somewhere before; wasn't he in the same year as our former PM & Gideon?
