I think things like the podcast he's just been on will help boost those numbers. Can't help but feel positive after listening to them. Of course it's just words for now but I genuinely feel that they will put everything they've got into making us a success. Can't ask for more than that and hopefully a lot of fans give then the benefit of the doubt and turn up again. They sounded very serious about ensuring this isn't a place that people can come and take the piss, be very interesting to see who they go for as manager

They've committed to pay Short a lot of money (in their or anyone else's terms) for the club. They probably have more incentive, possibly even necessity, to make this work than an incoming billionaire would.
 
If they sort the Rodwell issue out it will pave the way for the new manager's exacting standards. It'll only work with Rodwell gone.
He'll have to be paid off or sacked.

Reading between the lines they are going to sack him/pay him off but can't say anything until it's all done. IMO . The bloke is the antithesis of everything they're about

He can't be sacked but his wage is cut soon or has been already so paying him off becomes a tad easier
