think people unrealistically just want us to start spending an absolute fortune. which is how we got into this mess in the first place. i don't get it

Just had a bit scout around that interweb shenanigans. Seems Big Mick wants to go to a Championship or Premier League club. So that seems to be him ruling himself out, unless he's arse-talking, deein the owld Ali shuffle to hoy us off the scent. Crafty bugger is Big Mick.
 
I am still struggling with the idea the Press Conference is happening at all. Never mind what was said. I am really pleasantly shocked that it is actually done. Finally done. No more procedures and paperwork. No more EFL. It was doubtful many times. Really touch and go. But we did it. And this represents a massive achievement for us.

I've got a feeling some of our other previously interested parties / consortium's may hop on board the Don train to bolster the finances in future.......so just take it as it is, Ellis would not have agreed to the deal if it was shit, he'd turned down higher financial offers but chose our current owner as he seems to know his shit ! ;).
 
As soon as it was revealed he wasn't a billionaire some people were never gonna be happy. Fuck em.

The club under Ellis was weak as piss and an embarrassment. We now have someone who, at the very least, understands the game and knows the score. Just need to kick on and restore a bit fking pride in the place and the SoL will be jumping again.

They ain't loaded so just accept it and see how they go...
