Better than McLaren and Allardyce by the looks of it.I wasn't judging him on one season I would have thought that the finishing 5th and not being relegated comment might have suggested so, but hey ho.
I was merely stating cold hard facts, nowt to do with his persona or any other view clouding nonesense, statistically hes the best manager Newcastle have had in years.

You could say he's taken a team from 19th to 10th then. Pardew took a team from where (about 11th) and mainly hung around there or below. Even taking his best season the improvement was not as good.
You can cherry pick statistics to prove any point you want, but everyone knows Pardew is a shit manager. Fans of every club he's been at suss him out quick enough.
You wouldn't want him manager here and nor would anyone who knows anything about football.

I don't think Pardew is the better manager, but he took a mid table team to 5th and into Europe, winning manager of the season award. Benitez took a team over at 19th but got relegated. Managed 10th after getting back to the Premier League. Pardew achieved far more.
