The fact that West Ham are in for Rafa should be a reality check to the mags regardless of the outcome. They've gone on about him being a "werld class manager" but actually no, he's clearly climbed down a notch in his career to start managing average premier league teams after a set of failures at the very top.

He's no more special than the likes of Big Sam now and those are the types of jobs he's after, mid-table to relegation struggling clubs.

That’s my concern.

Tbf West Ham is a good oppertunity, easy to attract players thanks to London, genuinely classy players like Lanzini and Arnautovic ..... it'll be worth it on West Ham's point to give a manager a big wage. There's a lot of potential there.

Hate the mags but they are a much much bigger club and in a better position than West Ham. FSW is loved in Tyneside, not sure why he would go to the thankless task that is West Ham who have probably the worst board in the league.
