When and what was that? His greatest success was when he didnt have a lot of money to spend
Tin hat on but unless he wants to move his family down south why would he leave the mags for west ham
Its not like he would be leaving one average club for a massive club both clubs are a similar Size
Valenvia, la ligaWhen and what was that?
When was that? How many years ago and how many failures since?Valenvia, la liga
Quite a few trophies since then too. Whatever you say hes a good managerWhen was that? How many years ago and how many failures since?
End of the day West Ham are a far more attractive proposition.
Bigger ground, higher attendances, arguably better players, i'd imagine a higher wage structure and the biggest selling point - London.
If they want him, they could have him.
personally I think this will force Ashley to give him what he wants and he'll stay there, BUT if Ashley won't do that I think he will join us
He's clearly a good manager. He's taken Newcastle from bottom three to tenth whilst reducing the age of the squad and turning over a profit in transfers. His team's are hard to beat and very well organised. Some people on here just can't bring themselves to admit it.
I think he'll be on his way though. I don't think Ashley has any desire to take the Mags further whereas at West Ham I think he'll get more backing.
It's geared up for Benitez to come out with 'I'm staying because of the fans who have the same ambition as me' Chronicle supplements laying out the future including targeting cup runs and Europe. Manager with a pay rise and another season free from pressure
It was more a comment on the fact he's done a fine job working with what he's inherited, but I think the point in transfers is a valid one. I was talking to a Liverpool fan last night who would agree. His opinion was when he spends big he spends well but his budget buys were generally poor.Without checking i'm pretty sure that would be based on them selling players Benitez didn't buy.
I'd be amzed, in fact astounded if he could sell his transfers on for a profit!
