Seriously, SSN are flagging it up as if it's more than just a daft rumour.

I wonder if Staveley will want to buy West Ham now ..... after all she said that Benitez being at SJP was one of the key aspects of her offer.

This happens all the time- they'll make a bit of money from Skybet as people back him for the job. The Mags then get their "I'm staying" announcment and they'll all cream themselves.

I think it's more than that this time tbh.

West Ham have cleared the decks by sacking Moyes and his entire staff .... Benitez has already started the whinging about money problems at Newcastle.

The way this has broken makes me believe it's come from West Ham.

He's done a very good job for them to be fair, more than i'd expect most other managers could have done. No one would have predicted them to finish 10th this season that's for sure as much as it pains me to say it, he's got them playing for him and playing well.
