Who would even think putting gates in front of a brick wall was acceptable.

There's been a queue putside the gates ever since they were rested againts the wall.

TBF the tyne bridge banner wasn't in Newcastle.....Since newcastle doesnt begin till you cross the tyne bridge! It was just a good natured prank conducted in a town south of newcastle

I’ve got a photo of me and my dad standing in front of them doing the 3-0 sign with our hands just after the second 3-0. There was loads of others climbing all over them and standing getting pictures took bearing their arses while mags just watched on.

Are you sure which 3-0 it was now?
Or it wasn’t one of the 1-0’s?
Or the 2-1 perhaps?
There’s that many it’s difficult to pin them down.

The other bank of the Tyne....it's the reason there's a sign announcing "the metropolitan borough of Gateshead" at one end of the Tyne bridge.......and the opposite end announcing "the city of Newcastle UPON Tyne"

12 pages in and no one has put up the photo of the horse puncher flag been hung up on those silly gates after the second 3.0!!!!
That was done in front of 52thoosand million jawdees or whatever they keep spouting and not on a deserted Sunday afternoon.
