He must be dim if he thinks we will swallow the" I'm only here for decent chat" crap. He's only here, like some others who have recently signed up, cos we are in league one . At the moment we are an easy target. He's having his digs at us quite regularly and that is why he signed up.

Not really. The only thing I've had a dig at is your masses of empty seats but then plenty of your own fans also do that as well. I haven't said anything about being in league 1 either. Just try to offer some reality from a different perspective. Hopefully I can prove you wrong and you will see that in the future.

In fact I've mainly only been talking about and trying to defend Newcastle, albeit trotting out some cliches.

There's no need to prove anything to me, honestly, I feel like you are a bit obsessed given the number of posts you've made on your neighbour's forum. It's not natural IMO.

What's a typical Durham mag? And what's the issue with people from Durham supporting Newcastle? Plenty support Newcastle and plenty Sunderland. It's half way between both places.

Good post and I agree with that. Last 10 years other than that 5th place we have been the same or worse than most other pl clubs.
Maybe we do think we are better than what we are but what's wrong with wanting to get back in the top 6? We have had a taste so we want to get back. Either that or just accept been an also ran then what's the point?

When I was 11-19 growing up all I ever really knew though was qualifying for Europe. I think 98-2007 before Ashley we were in Europe just about every season and then only once since he took over.

Hence the frustration and feeling like he has held us back. If Sunderland had regular European football then got taken over and then had 2 relegations and no European football anymore would you be frustrated?

Frustrated ?
Your asking us as fans ffs ?

I have nothing to hide. Just posting in the Newcastle forum offering my views on Newcastle and responding to posts. Some of which I've said I agree with. Hardly like I'm spouting a load of stuff then unwilling to have it questioned or debate it.

I'm not a "sky boy", all I've known from been about 6/7 year old is watching football on sky though which is hardly my fault.

It's not a néwçãstlê forum. It's a Sunderland forum with a thread about néwçãss5lé ;)

I’m sure(if they exist) the horrible fuckers have numerous thread(s) about us, their biggest rivals.

Can you imagine being that obsessed about Sunderland AFC that you actually google, register, log in and post about us 24/7? It just doesn’t register with me, that is some obsession.

Charlie Austin (7), Chris Wood (9), Ashley Barnes (9) would not have gone for <£15m in this market. Mounie did, but was a gamble, just like Joselu.

He's a decent bottom end of Premier League/Top end of Championship striker. He doesn't follow instructions though and that shit won't fly with Benitez.

Wood signed for £15m last summer. Barnes was rumoured to Chelsea and Palace for a similar fee. Austin, meanwhile, has been linked to loads of your rivals. So aye, they would have been available "in this market".

Get your point of putting their goal totals in brackets to prove that they aren't 10-15 goal strikers, while ignoring that Wood and Austin have a goal/game ratio that would put them in that category and my initial point, which was that they would have been a significant upgrade.

Good luck marra, he’ll come back with at least 6 paragraphs.
