Just the general vibe from the lad which was all positive, they are chomping at the bit to get started and seem genuinely excited about their opportunity to be a successful chapter in our clubs history, there are probably details which will come back to me later but in a nutshell that was what I came away with, hope!

I hope you told them, it wasn’t that good every week

Was in his company this afternoon in Fitzies beer garden with @Kid Galahad , Tommy L, Blakie, Akky, @The Fulwell and a few others, and can only speak as find.
Very impressed, these guys know what it's all about, and I feel good times are around the corner in the hands of these fine fellas.
Helen is a very nice lady too. Normski did a fine job in looking after her whilst Charles was bombarded with questions by the rest of us.
Onwards and upwards!
Any indication on this most critical of managerial appointments ?
No names I'm sure bit surely you were able to feel if someone is lined up ?

I think they realised that! Funnily enough the one thing his lass said (when I could get a word in because of my mate Normski) was how blown away they were with the facilities especially at the academy, they were genuinely shocked that despite everything being top notch we were still struggling and with the right people making the right decisions they can turn it around and quickly.

They have a very short list and were confident it would be done soon was all he would say.

Was over the moon about a change of ownership, only to find out the new lot are Torys.

I'm loathe to trust them due to the fundamentally abhorrent politics they support. Not to mention their complete and utter contempt for anyone who isn't wealthy or who happens to be living outside the home counties.

Proud working class club in an area the conservatives have had a good go at destroying taken over by that lot won't end well. They'll be in it for the cheap real estate in a financially distressed areas no doubt. Class.
Fuck politics every party is full of shite and full of corruption just like football

Tbf, he impressed me with his professionalism in dead batting some errrr shall we say "searching questions"about Short, the finances, whose staying/going etc.
If he'd started blabbing all the details, I'd have been worried, but he was excellent.
The one thing he was adamant about was getting the "connect" back between club and fans.
Oh and 17500 st so far.

Power to the People:lol:
His lass' mother kept calling him foxy:lol:

Very surprised and disappointed that neither Shaun nor Kid have so far provided this vital piece of info - he wore red Levi Strauss kegs, size 34" waist, 32"leg.

They don’t need to buy Sunderland football club to get cheap real estate in Sunderland you f***ing clown, in fact, it’s probably the dearest way to acquire land in sunderland! Fuck sake!

Agree with the sentiment completely BUT we have a precedent in our Club’s history - (Sir) Tom Cowie when he was “owner”. He was an ardent Conservative supporter both locally and nationally. We’ll just have to wait and see how things work out.
