Mick Mac in League One would be anything but depressing mate. I think some people need a reality check here. Its actually doubtful he would drop into league One though. He would be my choice of a safe pair of hands to get us back to being competitive at Championship level in a relatively short period of time.

Reidy is in an advisory role at Wigan. Both Scousers so I presume Reidy is a friend of Cook and Cook asked him to come along & help out because Reid's got no other connection to Wigan. The link below suggests that Reid is at Wigan in a volunteer capacity.
