Just like Malinga but with his arm even more horizontal. As long as it's straight it's ok, isn't it? Is there a rule about it having to be above horizontal (as it would be deemed underarm?)

I think so. To me it looked more weird than Malinga, possibly because he was doing it so slowly you got a better view of the action. It was bizarre though.
