FFS - if they had been spotted on the day then fair doos, but haway man ....trying to track them down

we've took the piss out of the mags plenty over the years , our day will come again of that i'm sure

He should be if anything happens to him as he would be guilty of the same crime under joint enterprise law.
To be honest its pretty stupid threatening physical violence against somebody over the internet as they have changed the prosecution guidelines recently. The prosecution guidelines are now, offensive messages are to be taken on a case by case bases but any messages that have a credible threat of violence against a person or persons should always be prosecuted. What that means is if this scruffy mag chooses to complain to the police and expresses concern for his personal safety, If the CPS agree that the threats made were credible enough for the scruffy mag to be concerned they are more or less obligated to prosecute.
I think it's time for everyone to move on as it seems it's all going to end in tears.

Did he have hair then?

I believe he did, blondish. It's just he looks like a mate of mine (who is SAFC) and I remember wondering what he was doing with "The Gremlins" as I was drinking in the boozer at the time.
It may not be him but he still looks like the lad I know.

Only if he's advocated any, surely? People's names are put on social media every day and nowt happens

Not if it's to facilitate someone in committing a physical assault they don't.

If I mention your name on social media its not a crime.
If someone says they are going to give you a good hiding if they find out who you are and I say good I think you should as he deserves it, his name is xxxxx and he drinks in the dog and gun on Sunday mornings, then that is absolutely a criminal offence.
If what you post is a credible threat to the victim the home office guidelines are that it should always be prosecuted.
If a serious assault or worse takes place then the person that gives that information and encourages that crimes is guilty of the same crime under joint enterprise law.

These puddings plastered themselves all over social media and were tagged/named repeatedly man. They certainly haven't remained incognito and the lad mentioning one of their surnames in no way suggested anything of the sort and wasnt replying to a post suggesting either.

Just as I'm curious, do you think there is a genuine serious chance that some Sunderland fan/fans will go to that pub and dish out physical violence on these lads?
Do you really think they deserve that because of their actions?
Or are you just taking part in a bit of false bravado?
i was just going to send them a few hearing aids and a gay times subscription etc

I agree with most on here about people crying to the authorities about pixels on a screen, it's slightly fannyish when there is ignore function or just turn the f***ing computer off FFS. However, we live in a PC world now, one has to be careful about what one posts for fear of offending the weak of mind and noodle armed individuals who may be feeling a bit precious.

Re the mags, would have served them right had they got a slap Saturday gone, sending out a posse to hunt them down is a bit over the top, even though I pissed myself when I read that post.

No they don’t, it’s punishment enough for:

1. Being Mags
2. The clip of them.
