Guess what??? there's away fans wander around SJP after EVERY match, and no harm seems to come to them. Of course we aren't still living in the 70's when it comes to football violence.
You didn't answer my question related specifically if it was SAFC fans

I think that is called obsession, pal.
Its not.
When you obsess it occupies your mind to some sort of worrying or disturbing extent. I obsess about Newcastle, they are always on my mind, I worry they will get relegated, that the club will not get sold and we will be stuck with Ashley. I worry that if Ashley sells we will get someone even worse. I worry Rafa will not get sufficient backing and he will leave etc. This is obsession, they preoccupy my mind and do so to worrying extent.

Sunderland on the other hand is not an obsession as as there is no worry with it, nothing that disturbs me. I come here and chat shite with you lads not because it's an obsession but because I quite enjoy it and it passes the time.

A lot your time given how much you've been on the Sunderland board this morning

Still doesn't make it an obsession. I spend a lot of time playing golf, drinking good ale, reading books, travelling, smoking good cigars etc. These are all things I enjoy, none of them are an obsession.

Still avoided the question of what would happen if two of our lads wandered round singing SAFC related songs right outside your ground in a similar situation.

We left early during the 5-1 and were walking quietly down towards the station, there were a few other Sunderland doing the same. A bunch of their idiots, who obviously hadn't been to the game, ran down the bank from the area near the Strawberry.

The first over the central reservation barrier was hit with one of the cleanest punches I've ever seen, game over. The rest of them stayed on the other side shouting 'Come on then' until the polis turned up and they immediately made out they were trying to jump the barrier.

We just stood laughing at the sad sacks .... typical of how they are.

Sorry I hadn't realised you had asked me that question.
I would imagine if it was similarly as quiet as it looks in the twitter feed then nothing would happen.
The more people in the vicinity the greater the chance that there will be a person/persons there inclined to run over and give them a right good hiding.

I think they were daft doing what they did and I think you lot are daft going on about it.

I never ever see any stuff like this going on but you're always leaving early and I stay to the end so maybe that's why we see different things.

You sound like a smelly trainspotter.

You're kidding yourself if you think nothing would happen.

I'm not even sure what point you are trying to make here mate.
Are you saying Newcastle fans are more violent than Sunderland ones so there would have been greater chance of a violent outcome?
