Can we opt out? I think we should. We don't need the ignominy of our first team getting beat by U23 sides. This is our history. Forget about potential days out at Wembley 'cos it won't happen. We've competed in the same shit competition already with some of the same shit players we'll have turning out for us next season, and I've nee interest in seeing them get turned over by some boys team. We can also do without the distraction. There's enough games to be played already and our focus has to be on promotion.

You mean you want to boycott something?, not like you to have some balls.
Anyway we deserve the embarrassment of being involved.
No point twisting now the horse has bolted.

I don't think you're allowed to opt out of it.

You can't pull out of the Checkatrade Trophy.

You can also get fined if they think you have fielded an understrength team in it

We'll just field our U18's.

LETS WIN IT.
We have been relegated get over it. It isnt the fans fault. With Bain in charge we will get out of the league in one season, but it will be at the wrong end.

You cant its a first team fixture and you have to play a minimum of 6 from the previous league game.
