Like I said, it didn't cause us to plummet straight down or anything but we lost our best player when we were doing well. It was the first major negative when we looked a settled Premier League team and we never really got to that level again.

If Allardyce stayed and Moyes didn't come in that might have been different I suppose.

I'm not sure how I could make it any more obvious why he celebrated, maybe add in the fact we were chanting one greedy bastard at him every few minutes as well as the booing.

Could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the goal was his first touch of the ball. I think his only touch after that was the shot just after that Steele saved
