Rumours about our nearest & dearest trying to get into the Wolves game

Thanks I ain’t here to mock, I like healthy debate and at end if day what goes around comes around - some of the subject forums on here are quite good to be honest

Of course given the events of 2 years ago I did cop a lot of banter, but what is football without banter - if you can’t take it don’t give it is my mantra!

I actually think you have a tiny chance of survival, other teams have hard games and if you beat Burton who knows?

That said you will need to get another minimum of 4 points off Fulham and Wolves.
Like the cock do we?

What a f***ing idiot. As pointed out elsewhere, 0 is under 20.

the pic of the line of tickets is off a Wolves fans tweet. he'll be well pissed off if it's those tickets that have been cancelled.

Seems to mean a lot more to your lot than ours. I'm neither surprised at our plight or relatively bothered at the moment until something drastically changes at the club.

It does mean a lot to Newcastle fans, not all of course but this is a big deal in our lonely point scoring relationship.
Like I said earlier, relegations to div 3 don’t happen everyday so a lot of people are massively going to milk this.

Is my understanding correct?

A Wolves fan tweeted a photograph of a number of tickets for the away end for the final game of the season.
Some knacker trying to be clever took the photo, added one of three radgies and made a claim that they were going to the game.
Some 'journalist' then has run with the story that Newcastle fans were trying to go to your game, which was then discussed on Talksport.
In the meantime Sunderland have cancelled the tickets in the photo.

But the Wolves fan that was showing of all his and his mates tickets is proper fucked off, along with his mates.
Surely this couldn't happen though it would be very unlike Sunderland to over react.

Pictures from a twitter account called Newcastle goals of a handful of tickets for the Wolves game in the away end.

Since then the twitter account has been made protected. Hopefully they’ve been rumbled.

I hope that Wolves' fan's tickets haven't been cancelled mind. What a nightmare that would be.
Ner can't see it.
It's not like Sunderland as club would over react to a photo on twitter. Next you'll be telling me that they are stopping their own fans coming to their own games because some fanny made a post on a message board saying some Newcastle fans might try and get in.
hahaha

Noticed they hadn't blurred the ticket number or membership number out and knew something would happen

They put pictures of the tickets on Twitter...
what if the picture of the tickets were not his tickets, what if a Wolves fan put the tickets on twitter to show how many of his and his mates were going and some Newcastle fan thinking he's funny copy and pasted the photo.

Just to play devils advocate:
Since when have clubs been bothered who is in the away end.
Obviously you want to avoid rival fans coming in the home end because of the possibility of violence.

The away end is completely different, The wolves fans would be cheering when wolves score, the Newcastle fans would be cheering when wolves score. The Wolves fans will be taking the piss out of Sunderland going down, the Newcastle fans would be doing the same. Why would you be bothered if there was the odd Newcastle fan mixed in with the Wolves ones, they are all there for the same thing which is to watch Wolves beat you and take the piss a bit.
Shame you can't wear your colours though isn't it ?
Do it in the away end and you'll likely get your heads kicked in by the Wolves fans.
Wear them outside the ground and you'll end up in Sunderland Royal.
Incognito mags

It wasn't them tickets posted as far as I know, the pictures were quickly deleted when SAFC was tagged in it.

I wouldn't be going as i think it's daft.

I do think you lot are being drama queens over it.
I would imagine a Man City fan could have rang Man U last week and said "my mate is a west brom fan and has offered me a ticket for the west brom end. I would like to go as it might be the match we win the title....is that ok".
Do you think they would bothered? They would say sure no problem you will be an anti ManU fan in the anti ManU end so no big deal.

What are you lot going to do if someone posts a tweet showing a picture of a row of challenger 11 battle tanks with the caption, we have our weapons ready for the wolves match. You going to call in the army?

Just because someone says something will happen on twitter doesn't mean its going to.

Feel sorry for the Wolves fans who should have a bigger allocation to enjoy their promotion party but can’t because of these obsessed knackers.
