I'm having a go at him because his daughters car was attacked, I'm having a go because I think he is making it up.

His story doesn't stack up, he reported it to Northumbria Police who forwarded it to local police. Northumbria Police are the local police?
How did they Know she was a Sunderland fan, was it her red and white striped mini or does she go to work in her Sunderland strip?
There are police officers all over the place, are we expected to believe none of them took a stroll over and said "excuse me lads I know you're buzzing but would you mind stopping trying to roll that car over the young girl seems to be startled by it"
In these days of social media in which you can't fart in public without someone catching it on mobile and sticking it on face book, not one of the thousands of passing fans has done so?
No press picked up on it either?

Like I said earlier if it happened it's appalling I simply don't believe him therefore there is nothing I should be hanging my head in shame for.

Easy for him to prove it though he can just private message me the crime number he was given and i'll check it out, and if it did happen I will offer him a full and unreserved apology for not believing him.

well they did say "a significant number" of course that could be 1 if you believe the guy is going to cause trouble he would be significant.
I also noticed they didn't elaborate on what made them think they where Newcastle fans, they didn't actually say they where in the news item I read they said they believed they might have been. I wonder if it was the magpie suits or the black and white face paint that gave the game away.

It’s not victim blaming - they are absolutely daft trying to drive through there at 5pm on a match day. If I’m drinking in Newcastle on a match day at shark bar or something, you’ll see people trying to edge forward when there are blatantly people on the road. Thick as whale spunk

Well maybe that is correct but stupidity plays a part too. They have the Darwin awards for a reason.
Have we established if this really happened also? A crime number would put that to bed.

Thats not the bit that is hard to believe.
The bit that is hard to believe is that some people tried to overturn her car for no reason.
Now it could either be
A: the truth, if so they are scumbags
B: an exaggeration, not pleasant but not the end of the world, some people giving your car a shake.
C: porky fibs.

I am going for C if any proof were provided I would aknowladge that, and give my apologies. It just looks like a "aren't the mags scum, I have proof, listen to this"
I could be wrong, I hope I am not wrong as that would mean some young innocent lass got harassed by some scummy scumbags for no reason.
