This thread is surely destined for 'Gold'

Mags on the board at the crack of dawn and last thing at night, all week, Saturday & Sunday, some pretending to be Sunderland and others making out they somehow manage to fit posting on this forum into their busy lives with jobs, wives and mates. They're even mocking how long the thread is despite being on here constantly.

But the funniest thing is the trend to post, "The Sunderland posters keep saying we're on here 24/7, chortle chortle chortle".

... they seem to believe that if they keep saying that it means they're not sad.

Crack on lads, keep proving you're not obsessed and lonely

It takes just as long to log in and read a Sunderland messageboard as it does to log in and read a Newcastle message board like, so that's a bit of a weird argument.. And since we're safe and have basically nothing to play for or discuss right now, it's much more entertaining spending that short amount of time reading the various meltdowns on here.

But you're doing both.

If only there was some kind of multitasking thing for the internet these days... The ability to open multiple pages at once... Tabs, they could call them ;)

To be honest though I rarely read either. I'm not sure if there's a log in count here but I'm sure mine wouldn't be very high in the 5 years or so I've been registered. As for Newcastle forums, I'd generally rather avoid the bipolar twisting of our fans to be honest.

You just know the daft bastards will be thinking top 6 next season

Congratulations on beating the weakest shitest Arsenal team in my living memory though

No problem mate, all fair enough.

It wasn't specifically you I was talking about though, more 'the dedicated 24/7 professional-Mag forum' weirdos.

The kind who live on here but claim they're just squeezing a few posts into their hectic schedules ;)

Saying when players sign for Sunderland / Middlesbrough they have to pay over the odds to get them to sign but when they go to newcastle they dont have to try so hard as they know all about the passionate support, the City and the people. Barton said that you play in front a full house with amazing atmosphere that support the team for a full 90 mins without dissent or negativity

If you have anything to do with newcastle throughout your life do you get sucked into the 'Geordie nation bubble' and all history and anything else of other football clubs outside of tyneside become irrelevant and meaningless?

Is Newcastle United a brainwashing cult?
