Yes, we celebrated wins. Wins were few and far between. Of course I want Sunderland in the PL, but for the most part, it was poor, unentertaining and from a pure football perspective - unenjoyable. This season has surprisingly been even worse.

When we were doing canny under Peter Reid you went to games not necessarily expecting to win but knowing/thinking there was a chance.
In the better days under Bruce when we had Darren Bent on top form, it was the same.
Since then very few times we’ve gone with any hope. As me dad has said frequently wouldn’t it be nice to go hoping we might win.

I think this thread demonstrates levels of obsession with the local neighbours like no other. And yet people are still trying to use 'You're obsessed man. We're your world' as some kind of clinching argument. People outside the north east would laugh their tits off at this.
