Takeover talks not going great

I don’t give a fuck whether they attend, want to run a club, or pop their head in. I want someone who has the capability and the wherewithal to run the club and that’s less likely to happen with some interim chancers
The discussion we were having was around them not being able to invest and who we would choose between the two. Why don’t you read the post correctly. Who is to say they are interim chancers. You have chose to label them that, no one else

He isn’t going anywhere until the debt is completely gone. Who knows where we will be by then.
How can the debt ever be completely gone?

I'm a football fan not a finance fan so I'm not 100% clued up on it, but can the parachutes pay it off while still paying the bills along with championship/league 1 incomings?

We'll have Premier League debts in the 3rd tier. Paying that off isn't easy.

Is this a hunch or something you've heard?

First sign of madness talking to ya self iirc mate.

Unfortunately I think Julio is right, it's seeming more and more like the people interested couldn't afford it anyway. Maybe best we can hope for us Ellis to be a silent partner looking after the debt, running the clubb and the high earners from his regime, letting new blokes with not much cash deal with us as a league 1 club with league 1 bills?

Then if we get into a better position financially Ellis takes a lions share of future sales.

Oh ffs I dunno, I'm clutching at straws here and wishful thinking. We will be lucky to be mid table league 1 for the next 4-5 years the way things are going!

I would rather we waited until someone who could afford to buy the club buys the club. It’s not that I didn’t read your posts, it’s simply that I disagree with them. No need for crying

So would I, but it doesn’t look like it is happening. I’d much rather have anyone as above as opposed to Short. You obviously didn’t read it because you claimed “interim chancers”. Look up the word interim and tell me where I suggested they would be interim let alone chancers. Basically I want someone who wants to build something and has the astuteness and the wherewithal to do that

Sounds like a plan! I don't think any other PL sides charge £10-£15 a ticket though.
In any event the real problem we would have is getting the right players to come the club. That's been the major problem for the last 10 years.
Where are these 10 pound tickets like, I've never paid less than 20 quid for a ticket except for TV games in the prem.

So asking around, there were four interested parties. Only two have shown any real interest and only one has put a bid on the table.

Take it or leave it.

Short will be here come August.
