I know!

He is saying we are in league one because we sack managers

we've sacked 1 manager in over 3 years

Dangermows logic

Didn't say it had. But they lasted a fair few years those 6 in a row

Have to remember the feeling people had going to work, mixing with them etc, it makes a big difference to people's lives at the time, even though it may not feel like it now

Had a whole summer of joy after we relegated them, that is football for me

Its all pointless remember, not like we are going for league titles
As we both agree it’s each to own but the very fact our crowds are dropping as they are show that the shelf life of six in a row isn’t that of still being in the premier league.
The cup final a far better memory for me than beating the mags six in a row as that was a good achievement. Beating another tuppence hapenny premier league club was canny for local bragging rights but that’s about it.

It's simply proof that no matter what happens to either club, good or bad, you lot will never ever get over the #sixinarow

They dont care man. They never smashed up their own City or owt like that when we beat them before. No grown man punched a horse or owt like that. That would only happen if they cared

They seem to want to convince us that ‘6 in a row’ and relegating them should now be forgotten or that we should be wanting to ‘swap it for their position’. That tells you all you need to know right there. It hurt like fuck and still does despite what they might say to the contrary.

Can't sleep some nights.

Well stuff this beating Arsenal and being 10th in the Premier League. I would much prefer to be in the second division as long as we had beaten sunderland six times in a row. Life just isn't fair. (winky face).
You’re the sad bastards coming on here making claims about what our supporters should be thinking and acting not the other way round. Do you go round to your neighbours house to tell them how to arrange their furniture?

Eh? What you on about? "Supporters"? Your supporters are a disgrace. Gone missing in their 10's of thousands. FACT!

As a Newcastle fan I can honestly say I don't think you should forget about it but I do think you over play it. I was gutted at the time, both the six in a row and you pipping us to safety but I can honestly say I never give it a thought now other than when a Sunderland fan brings it up. Then when you do like most Newcastle fans we find it laughable that you are still going on about it given the current states of both clubs.

The thing that surprises me most from this forum is that so many of you seem to attach more importance about Newcastle doing badly than you do about your own club doing well. You seem to have the attitude that it's ok to lose as long as we do. That you will take going down to league 1 as long as Newcastle get demoted as well.

I understand that the 6 in a row is something you will always have unless we win 7 in a row at some point, and it gives you a warm fuzzy feeling and lets you have a pop at Newcastle fans from time to time.
I find that you would not swap that for a comfortable mid table premiership finish, to be financially sound and have optimism for the future astounding.
Do you care nothing for your club, you would rather see your club sink into third tier football, see it a financial ruin and the possibility of going out of business a genuine proposition, just so every now and again you get to spout six in a row to a mag that you may or may not be winding up.
You're crackers some of you lot mind.

The last line, f***ing hell pot kettle and black.

Again you’ve posted a full f***ing novel why I should not have enjoyed or look back fondly on six in a row. Point proven.

I can stomach lots of things but I will not stomach our own fans criticising our support, so I’ll be damned if I allow a Mag to call our supporters a disgrace.

Scumbags the lot of them and you can certainly tell they have won and are ‘on the up’. Cowardly shithouses who went missing from here for ages.

No I didn't, I said the opposite.
I said you should not forget it and I understand why it gives you a warm fuzzy feeling and allows you to have a pop at us.
I then went on to say I find it astounding you would happily see your club in the third tier, in financial ruin and facing the possibility of going out of existence just to keep that fuzzy feeling and aford you the ability to spout of sin a row to a mag from time to time.
If you think that amount of text a novel have you only read Peter and Jane books?

How is thinking some of you are crackers the pot calling the kettle black by the way. I will happily concede that some Newcastle fans are also crackers, I consider myself perfectly sane though.
