Silly Point

Striker

All the old favourites remain.

Good news Sangakkarra replaces Warne. Reckon he'll be class.

Bad news... Isa Guha and Ebony Rainford Brent

So they've got one Pakistani and one Indian - that's poor IMO.

No Ramiz Raja? No Dravid?

Very poor lineup.

True. And I liked Warne, I used to think he was spot on especially where spinners were concerned.

I've never heard Sanga on commentary so I don't know if it is an upgrade or not. Still Nasser and Atherton are the 'must not be withouts'.

i like ebony r-b. sangakkarra i'm looking forward to hearing

Nasser is awful - talks absolute rubbish. He described Tahir as a line spinner. I have asked but nobody can give an explanation of this.

Buzzers are overthrows and use the correct word please. He also addresses fellow commentators by their surname. What arrogance. He tries to be funny but he is not.

Bumble talks sense.

Couldn't agree more. Every shot is a short arm f***ing jab

Bumble talks sense  it was him that started with buzzers. I like them both.

Glad Ponting's with them, I think he's a really thoughtful pundit. I've seen him look a bit annoyed at some of the banter at the big bash because he wants to talk about the cricket.

Interesting to see what Sangakarra and Singh are like. I reckon Sangakarra will be a great addition and Harbajan will speak his mind.

I think Hussain is excellent. In 20 years him and Atherton will rank in the lists of all time great commentators IMO (plus Aggers).

I can't stand Nasser's commentary or Botham's. Akram and Holding are poor. Very arrogant people with few interesting thoughts on the cricket. It doesn't have a patch on TMS other than the occasional insight by Warne or someone. Really looking forward to Sanga. Best batsman I've seen and very well spoken.

How can you not like Nasser or Holding

Jesus wept man!

 jesus wept, Nasser and Atherton will go down as 2 great cricket broadcasters

He's the most popular commentator with the fans I'd say, very very strange comments.

Absolutely, moronic comments above, they are both absolutely brilliant

Need Nass back involved with the test team too

Ponting is brilliant like, seems a really good guy too. Best commentators IMO, like him, Nasser etc don't just make dramatic statements and mass exaggerations for the sake of it like Warne or Vaughan do.

I have a lot of time for Jeremy Coney also. Agreed, Nasser and Atherton are excellent. When you compare them to other channels, the simpering Nicholas, the t1t that is Danny Morrison and Michael Vaughan, SKY have, as ever, got the best broadcasters.

They never will but I would like them to sack that boorish oaf Botham off. A great cricketer does not make a great commentator and he pseudo captains with 12 men, always having a person where the ball has gone.

Haway mate, have an opinion. But “Jesus wept” and “moronic” over a matter of opinion is a bit harsh
