Told to shut up singing away at QPR jumped up tossers. Watford none of them knew the words to popular sunderland song at the time so started laughing at us. My mate threatened to flatten one of them. Strange bunch in general though I'm sure there are some canny ones

That really doesn't make any sense.

Why would someone not knowing the words to a song make them laugh at you ..... and why would that deserve to be threatened with violence?

My mate had drank about 15 pints and took offence.

After that much drink it's amazing he could discern that people were laughing at him because they 'didn't know the words' to a song.

How do you know they just weren't singing

From memory they were stuck up fuckers. Anyway it's up to him.
I know some good southern based fans however some seem to be rather strange

Mainly?

There's 1400 going so, if there's 700 from the NE, that's half

Over 1400 so far with people being able to buy tickets on the day which should bring the total up to 1500ish. If there's only 600 go from up here that's more exiles so my point stands ;)

A great effort all things considered. Given the state of Bolton and Barnsley, a win tomorrow and it's definitely back on. A loss and it's almost certainly all over. Nailed on draw then.
Let's hope those still making the effort to go are rewarded.
 Forget it man

I think you are just talking about everyone, I've stood next to people will all sorts of accents at Sunderland away games and there hasn't been a clear link between the odd uns other than alcohol is often involved

I'm not drinking at the moment so will be going into the ground without having had a few pints ...... nerves of steel me
