Aye, and just remember, most other clubs fans prefer us to the mags...I know lads in Yorkshire that took the piss when we relegated the mags, and they don't even support Sunland!!

Similar to the claims of being devastated at being relegated "by Sunderland". If anything that relegation brought a massive feel good factor to the place and filled people with optimism and hope once Benitez said he was gonna stick around, as evidenced by 50k+ crowds just about every home game in the championship.

I honestly don't think anyone outside the north east gives a fuck about Sunderland or Newcastle. The idea that there's a preference is a myth - if you chat to them about something they don't care about they'll tell you what you want to hear.
 
All quiet here in Kent, apart from the occasional 'Here, what's happened to your football team?'
I am miserable, but free from derision.
 
They will gloat as we would....where we differ is when things dont go our way we dont punch horses and smash up our own city...or take badly to going behind in a kids derby match
 
What can they say that we don't all ready know. We are shit and going down. Oh no, my life will end.
