The Mag is back. And instantly having a meltdown.

Not at the game. I've still got a ST. As I've said a few times on here, this season ive started f***ing off midweek games as its a chew on and a chore.

If you'd said "don't go too all games" you'd not have looked silly.

Will let you off though cos I think you're still a bit upset your claim that the mags are happy to come through and take piss didn't materialise.

What claim?

The shittest thing about it all is, like the mags, the best we can ever hope for is making up the numbers in the top flight.

That's the truth. Might get the odd good season with a cup run, qualify for europe, as our clubs did in 2014 and 2012, but it's not sustained.

Until the owners of both clubs change and somebody with ambition and a clear strategy over time comes in both clubs won't do anything. A clear strategy implemented in the way Spurs done well growing slowly over a number of years to now become a force in the premier league.
Obviously the Leicester title winning season was a total anomaly, despite it showing if everything falls into place what could happen.

I am getting it bad but I deserve it because a mate of mine who travels all over with them was in his house when I got home from Watford two seasons ago . I had a few and I went over sat in his living room and started singing we are staying up and your going down for 20 mins in the end his wife and kids were joining in . I also broke his 3 piece as I was bouncing up and down on it .

You don't sound like a tosser at all

Yes, I have had some pretty guttural flak over the past couple of weeks......well beyond friendly banter, more goading for a reaction.

We forget just how much the 6 in a row really hurt them.
They were singing 'six in row, six in a row, now the smb are two leagues below' at Leicester. Maybe they are over it.

Awe that nasty Mike Ashley again, what a bad owner he is. It's absolute disgrace he hasn't got you in to the champions league. Your big crowds deserve nothing less

Was there and genuinely dont remember this chant. Fans were singing the staying up going down song though.

Next door neighbour is a season ticket holder. Sound as f@ck . Says he feels sorry for us. I’ve only got 2 mag mates tho and one supports South Shields more now

The ones who actually go to the games tend to be alright. It's the skyboys who have started to pipe up again now they're safe

Think Bagpuss said it best. When they taunt us for being shit, the fact I simply agree with their assessment seems to confuse them and they quieten down.

Aye , I can take friendly banter no problem but mine nearly ended up in blows , and would have done if there was no kids there !

Fk sake ! I’m 43 yr old , absolutely no need

If you're nearly hitting your mates over football banter you need to seriously reevaluate like.

You lot gave us plenty of stick last season, it's swings and roundabouts and if the shoe was on the other foot you'd be dishing it out as well.

Why do you want a new owner? Genuine question
Because under Mike Ashley every revenue stream has decreased apart from TV money (which he has no part in growing).
The club had a debt of £70m to the banks when he took over. The club now owes Ashley £140m. The interest on the debt to him is said to be about £8m per year. Instead of him charging interest, he kindly just takes all advertising space in the ground for his shops (advertsing space said to be valued, conveniently at £8m per year).

In the 11 years before he came we had 7 top half finishes, (five of those in the top 5). In the 11 years he's been here there's been 1 top half finish, 2 relegations. No relegation battles in the 14 years we were in the premier league before he arrived, but in the 9 premier league seasons (not counting the 2 in the championship) he's been at the club there have been 4 relegation scraps, of which two were lost.
You may say he doesn't pick the team etc, which is true. But he controls the transfer policy and the appointment of staff, which brings me on to...

Wise, Lambias, Kinnear (twice), Pardew, Carver, McClaren. The handling of Jonas Gutierrez when he had cancer, the constructive dismissal of Keegan.
The buy low sell high transfer policy only using the club as a trading post for players instead of trying to build anything.
The massive lack ofambition being happy to make up the numbers instead of having a go. Lack of action when managers are clearly failing, sticking by McClaren for far too long leading relegation, sticking with Carver way too long almost resulting in relegation.

There's not one thing likeable about him.

Tbf can't see us ever making Europe either.

10th,38 points,6 games to go,spent a similar amount of time in the top 6 as the bottom 3,had 1 bad run(like every team has)...tell me when did lord rafa have us looking like going down?:lol::lol:
He's already had you down once ya git pudden. And don't forget who put him, and you, there.

Fair do's but he seems to have learned by his mistakes and gone some way of making amends over the last couple of years. If you want an example of a really bad owner look no further than what we are going through
